Privacy Policy: VAST Planner

Last updated: 13 May 2026

VAST Planner is built so that your personal data never leaves your device. This policy explains exactly what that means in practice.

Information we collect

None. VAST Planner does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on any server. The app does not contain any analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, crash reporters, or third-party tracking tools.

Everything you create inside the app, tasks, routines, focus sessions, streak history, is stored locally on your iPhone using the operating system's standard on-device storage. We have no access to it. If you delete the app, your data is removed with it.

Network access

VAST Planner does not make network requests. The app does not require an internet connection at any point and works fully offline.

Accounts and sign-in

There are no accounts. VAST Planner does not ask for an email address, phone number, password, or any other identifier. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign in to.

Permissions

VAST Planner does not request access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, calendar, location, or notifications. In version 1 the app operates entirely within its own sandbox and the optional Home Screen Widgets it provides.

Home Screen Widgets

The VAST Planner widgets read a small snapshot of your current tasks, routines, and focus state from a shared on-device container so they can display your day on the home screen. This snapshot never leaves your device. Tapping a widget, for example, to tick off a task or start a focus timer, writes back to the same on-device storage.

Third parties

VAST Planner does not integrate with any third-party services, advertising networks, social networks, or analytics providers. We do not share data with anyone because we don't have any of your data to share.

Children

VAST Planner is rated 4+ and is suitable for users of all ages. Because the app collects no information from anyone, it collects no information from children. The app is not directed at children under 13 in the sense of the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), but it is COPPA-compliant by virtue of collecting no personal information at all.

Your rights

Because no personal information is collected or held by us, there is no data to access, correct, port, or delete on our side. To remove all data created inside the app, delete the app from your iPhone or use the in-app reset option if available in a future version.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data in a future version, for example, by adding an optional cloud sync, we will update this page with a new "Last updated" date and clearly describe what changed. Anything that involves your data leaving the device will be explicitly opt-in.
